Personalising
You would use this to change your personal and overall system, settings within Carefree
- Settings changed can be reversed
- Be aware whether the change you are making affects you, or all users.
Top tip: Use the reports toolbar to store your most commonly used reports, saving time searching for them each time you want to use them
Accessing Options & Settings
- Select ‘Tools’
- Select ‘Options & Settings’
- Select required option from ‘Personal Options’, ‘Rotas & rostering’, ‘Invoices, wages and exports’, ‘Call monitor, mileage and SMS’ or ‘Security & Flavour’
Commonly used options and settings
Below is a list of the most commonly amended settings within the system…
| Option/Preference | Purpose |
| Reports Toolbar | Allows you to store your most commonly used reports at the
bottom of every screen for easy access. Tools – Options & settings
– Personal options – general options tab – Status Bar & Tool Tips
field – Show Reports toolbar. Once activated (clicked apply) you
will see the report toolbar displayed at the bottom of your screen.
To place a commonly used report here select the top heading,
then on the sub heading drag the report down to the toolbar.
To disable the reports toolbar access as above and remove the ticked field from show report toolbar. |
| Showing mobile numbers of lists. | Will show the Carer’s mobile number on the list of Carers |
| Allow dragging and dropping of calls. | Turns on and off the drag and drop function. Turning off reduces the potential to move calls incorrectly |
| Use red borders for 'everything' ticked. | This will place a red border around the rota screen when you have selected the ‘this week and beyond’ option |
| Warn if carer is excluded by the client. | If you allocate a call to a Carer who has been excluded by a certain Client you will receive a warning |
