Personalising Your Lists

Within CareFree it is possible to select from many different lists in order to populate fields with information. Rather than these lists being set by Ourselves using our terminology, the software allows you to set your own lists and as such use your own wording and titles for the items you require. This means that you can tailor the software for your organisations needs.

Top Tip: In order to navigate quickly to the list entry you require, click once in the list and then press the letter key on your keyboard that matches the entry you are searching for. E.g Press “T” to jump to lists begin with the letter “T” such as Transport types.

It is a good idea to spend some time setting up your lists for your business, by default Carefree comes with some entries in most of the lists but take a moment or two to check that these are what you require.

Making Changes

Making a change to an Item in a list is simple.

  • Select the correct list and then in the lower left section of your screen select the Item that you wish to amend.
  • Click the Edit action button and then make the change to the record on the main part of the screen.
  • Confirm your changes by clicking OK or discard them by clicking Cancel.

Finish by closing the Items screen. When you look again in the drop down list it may not have appeared to have changed. In order to make the changes visible you may need to select Refresh. Once you have refreshed your list click on the drop down again and it should now contain your edited or new items
