You would use the reports tab to view/print specific reports available on ‘Carefree’

• Each specific group has several group headings available
• In order to print off a report both group heading and sub heading need to be highlighted.

Top tip: When printing off a report the report can be presented in different ways. In order to display the report in different ways click on the drop down box under ‘Group by’

1. Click on the ‘Reports’ icon at the top of the screen
2. In the top left of the screen select the group you wish to obtain a report on
3. Below this select the sub heading you wish to focus on
4. Use the tabs on the right to specify what information you want to run a report on (shown below)

1. Left click on the dropdown arrow next to ‘preview ‘which is situated in the bottom right hand corner
2. Select required option (printer, email or export)

Within CareFree there are over 300 different reports, listed under the heading and sub heading fields. You can access a list of the reports under each heading using your online CareFree guide (accessed by pressing F1) Type in Reports in the search field. The most popular reports are those relating to timesheets and rotas for clients and Carer’s. Another popular report heading is CSCI & RQIA – CSCI is the Commission for Social Care Inspection and the RQIA is the Regulation & Quality Improvement Authority. Both are regulatory bodies within the Domiciliary care sector. If you click on the CSCI & RQIA top heading whilst in Reports you will see in the sub heading field below that there are a further 10 specific reports you can use.

Any of these reports can be viewed at any time so you can see which data is presented. Specify some dates and press preview. The AQAA (referred to as Aqua) is a very detailed report which we look at together.

AQAA – The Annual Quality Assurance Assessment is a specific report you can run from CareFree, this is a requirement for all registered adult services. The completed assessment is the main way that you will let CSCI know how well your service is delivering good outcomes for the people using it. The annual quality assurance assessment is in two parts:

1. A self-assessment that asks you to update CSCI on how well you think you are meeting the needs of the people who use your service.
2. A data set that asks you to give some basic facts and figures about your service.

Access the AQAA report as you would any other report in CareFree, shown on below illustration. CSCI & RQIA heading – AQAA sub heading.

When you select the preview button you will be automatically directed to the AQAA report, displaying all the information for the dates/individuals/branches selected.

Remember CareFree can only report on data that is saved – Where any zeros are presented this could either mean you have no individuals that fall into that category – OR that this info hasn’t been entered against a client or carers record.

Your L&D representative has a sample copy of the AQAA report to show you alongside information on where this info is collated from.
